Our son-in-law (Sgt Buddy James Hughie) was a combat medic serving in Operation Enduring Freedom when he was KIA by a Taliban sniper.
Buddy received two Bronze Star medals (with valor) and a Purple Heart.

There should be another stipulation in the Stolen Valor law. "If convicted you can not be burried with the Stars and Stripes and will not have Military Honors serving."
Sean Linnane is the psuedonym of a retired Special Forces career NCO (1st SFG, 3d SFG, 10th SFG). I served with honor on five continents; I continue to serve in other capacities.
